Black Magic Cake
Ingredients
2 cups granulated sugar
1 ¾ cups All-Purpose Flour
¾ cup Hershey’s Cocoa powder
1 ½ tsp baking soda
1 ½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup strong black coffee
½ cup vegetable oil
1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour baking pan.
Stir together sugar, flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
Add eggs, buttermilk, coffee, vegetable oil, and vanilla; beat on medium speed of a mixer for about 2 minutes or until fully combined.
Slowly add in the dry ingredients to the mixer bowl and mix until fully combined. Batter will be thin.
Pour batter into the prepared pan.
Bake 35-40 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Allow to cool completely before icing.
Enjoy!
**Cake will be most moist the next day, best prepared the day before serving but totally okay to serve same day.
